The Accelerate Prosperity, Kyrgyzstan (AP) has launched its sixth business accelerator for IT companies and start-ups in Bishkek. Selected participants will attend a six-week acceleration programme which could lead to investments of up to $50,000 and further support to enter international markets.

In total, 108 applications were received to participate in the business accelerator. Following a competitive process, the AP team selected 35 IT start-ups and companies working in areas such as e-commerce, fintech, telemedicine, online education, software development, and cloud solutions.

Companies chosen will receive intensive training in November and December 2020 in growth techniques, market analysis, use of marketing tools, business modelling, financial management, and will also have the opportunity to consult with international experts and consultants. Experienced foreign speakers will deliver a series of lectures relevant to IT companies. Among them is also the founder of Outtalent startup Tilek Mamutov, who shared with the participants of the business accelerator his experience of launching a start-up, participating in Y Combinator and attracting investments.

During the program, participants will be assigned mentors who have successful experience of working with IT start-ups as part of acceleration and investment attraction. These trackers will advise entrepreneurs when implementing growth and promotion strategies.
